The multidisciplinary artist, Ana de Alvear has exhibited her video and paper work all around the world, most notably at the SDMA San Diego, US, Hará Museum, Tokyo, Japan and Reina Sofia Museum and The National History Museum both in Madrid, Spain. In her series SPACETIME, these colour pencil drawings document moments from vast cosmological processes and translates them, with colour pencils, into a fixed moment in time. Sensitive to the psychological implications of the artistic process, her photorealistic works provoke a potent sense of contemplation.
